Today is one of my favorite days of the year. The day GeoMarvel was founded. On this day each year I like to take time to reflect on our business and vision for the future. Over the years GeoMarvel has been on an incredible adventure with our customers and partners. We have gone from literally my basement with a makeshift cinder block stand up desk (see photo below) to supporting global organizations, first responders, governments, nonprofits, fortune 500’s and some of the most critical utilities in the nation.
To the GeoMarvel team and all who have supported along the way! Thank you! You all are amazing and today we say thanks to you for your support. Someone asked me recently in an interview, “What is your favorite part of your job.” With only a moment to really think about it. I closed my eyes and thought for a few seconds…. I smiled and genuinely replied “Our Team.” We have so much fun, we work together in the trenches where no one is left behind or alone on a problem. We turn moments that in most workplaces are frustrating and painful into a challenge where we never let it beat us. We truly take pride in how we work together as a Team.
I’m so proud to have worked with my colleagues to build and deploy our Development Team, System Implementation Team, and now our Digital team which will focus on our passion for education and e-learning. I think back to some of our early projects. The technology has changed 3 times over. We have continued to lay on the forefront and guide our customers through the evolution of this geospatial sphere. GeoMarvel continues everyday to be a strong pillar to our customers and provide the best support and services we can offer.
I look forward to another year and am truly humbled by our ambitions as a company. Again thank you to all our customers, partners and digital supporters!
