Synoptic Data collects more than 96 million weather and geophysical observations daily, helping organizations improve situational awareness, create smarter risk management strategies, and perform more efficient and resilient operations. The Latest Weather Observations product suite offers high spatial coverage and low latency weather observations across the United States to help improve situational awareness, risk management, and operational efficiency for customers in the field of public safety, transportation, utilities, and national, state and local governments. Some of the weather variables and units that are provided include: Station name and Identifier, Date and Time, Longitude and Latitude, Elevation, Temperature readings, Wind Speeds, and a full Weather Summary, among others.
Now available for public consumption in the ArcGIS Marketplace, this Real-Time Weather Observations dataset is broken down into 3 different Marketplace listings (Regions of the United States): Western US, Central US, and Eastern US.
