I am a Solutions Engineer at GeoMarvel. In this role, I utilize my technical skills and the latest in GIS technology to help find the best solutions for our clients in a wide range of industries.
I have a B. A in Anthropology and Archaeology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and a graduate certificate in GIS and Unmanned Aircraft from the University of Denver.
Before GeoMarvel, I worked with Historic St. Mary’s City as an archaeological field technician from 2018 – 2021. During that time, I was privileged to have worked with the team that discovered the location of the 1634 St. Mary’s Fort, Maryland’s Original English Settlement and the Fourth Oldest English Colony in North America. https://www.peopletopeopleproject.org/discovery
My favorite thing to do in my free time is being outside whether that be hiking, camping, snowboarding, golfing may it be outdoors or indoors with the foresight sports, or playing tennis.
I would love to go to New Zealand to see where they filmed the Lord the Rings Trilogy.
My favorite movie is the original 1993 Jurassic Park.
My favorite sport is tennis. I also played D3 tennis for St. Mary’s College of Maryland and still play as much as I can.
I am very active and even completed the JFK 50-mile marathon finishing first for my gender and age division. I have a twin brother who also completed this race with me. I have been to 9 countries and hope to add more to that list whenever I can. And last but certainly not least, I have a cat named Scully. She is named after Gillian Anderson as FBI agent Dana Scully in The X-Files.
I am excited to be a part of a company that shares the same values as I do and admire the work GeoMarvel has accomplished so far. I am excited to see what they will achieve in the future and can’t wait to see what I learn as a Solutions Engineer and how my knowledge and passion for GIS will continue to grow working with such talented people!
