I serve as an Enterprise Solutions Engineer for GeoMarvel. In this role, I work with clients to design, deploy, and maintain Enterprise GIS systems, automate geospatial workflows, and develop Web GIS solutions.
Here are three (3) fun(ish) facts:
1. In another lifetime, I was an All-American Track & Field athlete.
2. I have never eaten a Big Mac or a Whopper.
3. I am a dual-citizen of the United States and Germany.
I tend to spend my free time hanging around with my beautiful pup and/or beautiful wife, planning the next Dungeons & Dragons session, exploring Richmond (VA), and going on the occasional run.
For a short time, I taught at the Vienna Institute of Natural Resources (BOKU Vienna) teaching graph theory to Master’s candidates. This also coincided with the 2014 World Cup, so it was an all-around great experience.
I graduated from the University of Richmond in 2014 with degrees in Environmental Science and Geography. I have worked in the Enterprise GIS space for nearly a decade, holding positions with academic institutions, governmental organizations, and private consulting firms. Most recently I served as the Lead Enterprise GIS Consultant for Geographic Technologies Group.

I am excited to work alongside some really talented and interesting people in the GIS community. GeoMarvel has a diverse team with a range of backgrounds, specialties and experiences that I believe I can benefit from and positively contribute to. Additionally, the company’s color scheme is right up my alley so I’m excited at the prospect of wearable merch.
