As Director of Managed Services, I lead our team of Solution Engineers on the Managed Services team where we focus primarily on ArcGIS Enterprise, from new installations and migrations to custom configurations and regular maintenance of ArcGIS Enterprise environments. We work closely with each of our Managed Services clients to provide prompt support and updates to ensure environments are secure and running on the latest technology from Esri.
I was a teaching assistant at a biological research station in northern Minnesota. We spent our days researching animal activity in the area. From handling bats and other mammals, to setting camera traps and catching/tagging animals, to nighttime treks into the woods to follow fluorescent trails, there was never a dull moment at the research station.
I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, back in 2014. My degree focused on GIS and environmental studies. Since graduation, I’ve worked in a variety of places, including a GIS startup in Minneapolis mapping underwater vegetation, composition, and bathymetry. And more recently in Colorado, I worked as a GIS Analyst at an engineering firm, where I helped drive change and the adoption of new and emerging GIS technologies.
I enjoy spending my free time with my wife Libby. We enjoy camping, hiking, backpacking, skiing, rock climbing, and mountain biking. If it happens outdoors, we’re probably into it. I also love playing new board games, discovering new music, and traveling to new places.
My wife and I are digital nomads. Which means we travel from place to place in search of our next WiFi connection. We both work 100% online, which gives us complete freedom of location.
The fjords of Norway sound incredible. I’d love to be there to see the stunning northern lights.

I was originally drawn to GeoMarvel because the passion behind the company was immediately obvious, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it. Getting back into the startup world was a no-brainer for me, as I love getting into a variety different of tasks on any given day.
