I was blessed to join GeoMarvel as the Senior UI/UX Designer. This involves thinking through and creating human-centered design solutions for a variety of GIS applications.
My background is in Web Design by way of The Art Institute of Tampa but I’ve also received education and experience elsewhere. I was very fortunate enough to find myself in a network of other investors and entrepreneurs. This propelled my career in Design and Development in the start-up industry. Since then, I’ve explored a variety of industries and positions that shaped my overall experience around product-centered design.
I’m self-taught on the bass guitar and have a musical background in jazz ensemble. I’m a big fan of music from the 20s to the 90s, from southern blues to funk n’ jazz.
Before GeoMarvel, I would have to say the most interesting job was with a start-up called UNATION. I worked with a vibrant team of brilliant and creative minds. Not only that, we all had the same goals and ambitions. I wore multiple hats across different roles and was even thrown into a leadership position by the founder, which opened the door to many other opportunities. If we were not sleeping under our desks working on product features and pitch decks, we were out shooting, curating creative assets locally, meeting with investors and celebrities, and integrating with local businesses and the city to participate in festivals and shows for product content. It was a lot of fun. It opened my eyes to the world of business like how do i buy premium bonds and product marketing.
I would love to go to Israel. It’s so culturally rich with history and epic stories!
My free time is usually spent detailing and modifying my soon-to-be road track car (a Subaru STI), PC gaming, laying out at the beach, fishing, hiking, or traveling to new cities looking for the next destination to purchase a home. I have a newfound interest in day trading. I am learning how to day trade with paper money utilizing think or swim trading applications.

Working with developers feels like home to me. I love being part of a small team capable of making a powerful impact. Also, the diversity of creative help I am able to provide makes me feel right at home while providing a new challenge to learn and grow with every project.
