As a Solutions Engineer at GeoMarvel, I help translate complex geospatial technology into practical, impactful solutions. I focus on designing, building, and deploying GIS systems that strengthen spatial insight and real‑world decision‑making. By working closely with clients to understand their specific challenges, I apply modern tools and proven best practices to deliver tailored solutions that streamline workflows, improve performance, and drive efficiency.
I earned my B.S. in Geographic Information Science from SUNY University at Buffalo before joining Esri, where I spent eight years advancing through several technical roles. I spent three years on the ArcGIS Enterprise Technical Support team, followed by two years in Professional Services as a Technical Consultant. I then served for three years as a Senior Product Engineer on the ArcGIS Monitor development team, contributing to product design, optimization, and user‑focused enhancements.
I really valued my time at Esri, especially in Technical Support, where no two days were ever the same. I enjoyed the challenge of tackling a wide range of issues and never knowing what unique problem I’d be solving next. I also have a genuine passion for working directly with customers and showcasing the power of GIS, helping people understand what’s possible has always been one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
One of the many coffee shops in downtown Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Western North Carolina is my favorite region of the country and I love spending time there with my family!
Outside of work, I try to spend as much time outdoors as possible, whether I’m walking through my neighborhood or exploring new places with my wife and son. I also enjoy reading, trying new specialty coffee, digging into genealogy research, and tinkering with tech side projects (GIS‑related and otherwise) that let me experiment and create.
I’m left‑handed. I have two dogs: Remi, a German Shepherd, and Tobi, a Terrier mix. I’m originally from Western New York, where people in my hometown are outnumbered by cows. I’m a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan.
To watch: football. To play: pickleball.
Interstellar.
I’m excited to join the GeoMarvel team because it offers the opportunity to apply the deep technical experience I’ve built throughout my career to meaningful, real‑world challenges. I’m also looking forward to learning from and collaborating with a talented group of colleagues who are equally committed to pushing the boundaries of what is possible with GIS.
