I was brought on as a GIS Developer here at GeoMarvel. I will be supporting automation for all things GIS. This includes Python development, infrastructure-as-code, system migration, & application customization.
I originally studied Cartography & GIS, as well as Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Following an internship during undergrad, I joined Esri full time as a technical consultant. During my time there, I was able to support wide-ranging customer projects from base ArcGIS Enterprise implementations all the way to fully-automated, cloud-native processing workflows. Since then, I have dabbled in full-time software engineering and solar installation!
During my undergraduate degree I was lucky enough to work as a member of the sailing club maintenance shop. This involved long days on the lakefront with close friends, learning all sorts of interesting skills. Through this work, I was able to learn fiberglass and carbon fiber repair, marine motor maintenance, some welding, and sail making!
I love to spend as much time outdoors as possible. This includes mountain biking, rock climbing, and camping during the summer and skiing of all varieties during the winter. I am also an avid traveler with a long list of destinations to visit in the coming years.
Currently, Peru is at the top of my list. The country is steeped in history across millennia and the combination of food, culture, and interesting geography is hard to beat!
I am a fraternal twin, dual citizen with the United Kingdom, and was born on New Year’s Eve.

I’m excited to work at the cutting edge of GIS with a brilliant team of individuals. I’m also looking forward to the growth opportunities provided by a small organization and hope I can make a positive impact on the organization for years to come.
