In May 2026, the GeoMarvel team came together for GeoMarvel Summit—our annual event focused on strengthening the organization through knowledge-sharing, strategic alignment, & teamwork—in none other than Music City!

This year’s Summit emphasized several core themes embedded in GeoMarvel team culture: idea meritocracycollaboration, innovation& solutionsThe Summit brought team members together from all around the United States and Canada to align on priorities that support continued success for our clients, partners, & organization and strengthen our connections so that we can continue to deliver the best to our clients.

As in years past, the Summit emphasized aligning on strategy, priorities, execution across the business to improve coordination, accelerate delivery, reduce operational friction. Sessions also focused on leadership development, employee engagement, and reinforcing the culture of accountability, ownership, and collaboration that drives long-term success at GeoMarvel. Additional discussions centered on strengthening cross-functional collaboration and improving decision-making processes to better support high-impact initiatives and customer outcomes.

Day 1 featured presentations led by GeoMarvel Leadership representing multiple functional areas across the company:

Day 1 Sessions: GeoMarvel Business Presentations

  • The day began with a company-wide overview of GeoMarvel’s performance presented by CEO Jon Nordling, which also provided a deep-dive into organizational strategy, business goals, & priorities.
  • Additional presentations covered Human Resources updates, employee feedback initiatives, marketing performance, & evolving organizational processes presented by our Operations Team, Rick Snell & Chrissy O’Brien.
  • Our Services Team presentations, led by Dalton Bloom & Ryan McGrath, shared our team’s performance against KPIs, reiterated best practices, highlighted positive examples of innovation and initiative amongst our team, & emphasized the value of partnering with our cross-functional team members to elevate the customer experience.
  • In our Business Development presentation led by Carolyn Gamble, our team got a closer look at our ever-strengthening pipeline Y/Y, the different kinds of engagements we have, the diverse industries represented in the pipeline, and how the Services & Operations Teams partner with BD to serve our clients.

At the end of Day 1, our team was given a sneak-peek at the focus topics for our Day 2 Team Challenge.

Day 2 Session: Interactive Team Activity

Facilitated by COO Rick Snell, Day 2 shifted into a highly collaborative & strategy-driven workshop format centered on organizational growth, innovation, & operational scalability. Team members participated in facilitated working sessions designed to develop actionable recommendations and forward-looking solutions across several critical business priorities.

Workshop discussions focused on three core areas:

  1. Advancing GeoMarvel’s strategic use of Artificial Intelligence
  2. Strengthening Business Development processes & pipeline growth
  3. Preparing the Services organization to scale alongside continued company expansion

These interactive sessions encouraged cross-functional collaboration, thoughtful dialogue, & the exchange of ideas that will help inform future strategic initiatives across the organization.

GeoMarvel Team Outings

With no scheduled activities on the evening of Day 1, many team members ventured into the city to enjoy the sights, sounds, & flavors of Nashville. Team members got to enjoy bowling, ping-pong, and some were even bold enough to try out bull-riding!

On our last evening together, the GeoMarvel team & accompanying plus ones enjoyed escape room fun, which was a first for many of our team members. Split into three teams, we ventured into different rooms & worked together to emerge victorious. We are happy to report that all three teams successfully escaped their rooms before their 1-hour time limit was up! Afterwards, the team sampled some BBQ, enjoyed more readily available live music, & celebrated our time together.
